Dory would like to introduce her new friends, Kimmy and Frosty!! These Nigerian Dwarf goats just arrived from Took a Leap Farm. This is the same farm that allowed Nelly and Cooper to come live here last year. Kimmy and Frosty will be permanent members of our herd!!

One year ago today, the amazing Nelly, mother of Buttermilk Sky, Internet Phenom, and sweet Cooper came to live at Gentle Meadow Goat Farm!! We are so blessed to have them in our lives!!! Nelly is a Nigerian dwarf #goat who makes me smile every day, even when she's causing trouble. I have so many photos of her like this one. She's out of focus and the barn behind her looks great and usually at least one body part is cut off. That's because she is always so curious about what I'm doing, that she needs to come over to investigate. It's really hard to get a nice photo of a goat that's trying to sit on your lap!

Cooper is growing into an incredible little man!! He's also a Nigerian dwarf goat and is our herd sire. He is about 15 months old now and is just the sweetest boy. While he can get rowdy with his fellow buck, Josh, he is always gentle with people. He loves nibbling on fingers and getting scratched in his neck. His beard always makes me smile. Unlike most goat beards I've seen, which tend to be slim and pointy, Cooper's beard spreads out like a fan. It's quite a hearty beard for such a little man! I couldn't have asked for a better boy to live here!

I am so lucky to have them in my world!! Thank you, Took a Leap Farm, for letting them come live here!!
